| Retrofit Deck-Mates- for existing penetrations that can not be disconnected on metal roofs. Retrofit Deck-Mates offer quick and easy installation, eliminating roof leaks at pipes and other roof penetrations without disconnecting the penetration. However, the Retrofit Deck-Mate still allows for movement between the penetration and roof, while maintaining a tight closure. The closure is accomplished with a series of clips molded into the boot which are easily crimped over in the field. Retrofit Deck-Mates are molded in flexible EPDM, which has a serviceable temperature range of -60F to +270F, with an integral aluminum flange which can be bent by hand to conform to the roof profile, irregularities, or slopes. The aluminum flange, however, is isolated from the underside of the boot to prevent harmful galvanic corrosion such as happens with solid metal flashings. Portals Plus Retrofit Adapter Rings can be used to accommodate unusual shapes such as angle irons and square tubes. |
