| Equipment Rails- for secure mounting of rooftop equipment. Equipment Rails provide a uniform mounting pedestal for condensors, blowers, and other roof mounted equipment. Manufactured from heavy 18 gauge galvanized iron, Portals Plus Equipment Rails are designed as structural members which can be mounted and secured on the roof deck or can be mounted and secured directly to the roof purlins, although roof deck mounting is more common. A high bearing capacity is attained by a system of internal gussets welded into position at specific intervals along the length of each rail. Corners are all fully mitered and welded and an integral bottom plate completes the unitized construction. For watertight base flashings, each rail includes a continuous wood nailer at the top for securing base flashings and comes with an 18 gauge galvanized cover. |
